Wa si hokkien lang..dan si wa beh hiao gong hokkien wueh..but I hope I can speak hokkien,so that my father wont make fun of me..in other words..I wana praise my fren…hehe..can u help me with tis words below??hope u will open a 3rd hokkien class..Kam Siah!!

Wah. Limpeh sibeh ku boh check emiao liao. Kua tiok lu eh emiao limpeh chuak tiok. Chin chueh lang request limpeh kui jit geh Hokkien Class 3. Ta pi limpeh boh material kui simik lanciao? Jippai hoseh liao la. Wu lang request, ka provide limpeh tam pok material. Ani kuan ka STEADY mah. Lu siong limpeh chin eng eh ah? Tolong limpeh tampok laaaaaa.

(S) An cua limpeh eh ko pi anneh ku ko beh gao?

(S) Limpeh mm si kioh ko pi la. Limpeh pun lai si kioh milo peng. :P

  6. Wow, I’m impressed. I can’t type Hokkien, and I can only understand a little bit (I’m half Teochew so I speak half and half at home). I identify mostly with Hokkien, but this is amazing. I’m glad I found this website. :D

Ka de kong ah….balu wa eh kia gin na tampok pun behiau hokkien euy, anchua hor leh ?

    To all qi 8ai kia in here….pls go and get “F” learn your proper “Han” writing before talk “C0CK” in ABC.

    limpeh = wah (me). But Limpeh is use to acknowledge Ah Tua.

  45. I am Penang Hokkian. I speak Hokkian since young. When we write or read, we write or read in Chinese characters. Hokkian is just the spoken dialect. We do not write Hokkian characters like you do in Medan. It looks funny to us.
