Bro, just wanted to say thank you for all those funny stuff you wrote. Maybe years later when you look back at this it will bring back lots of good memories or maybe all this is just the begining of something that you can see the future in, shift from blogging to other sector.
Still THANK YOU FOR ALL THE FUN BRO.

KNNCCB! hokkien lang dont quit when you are at the top, take an extra long vacation perhaps.I found this interesting site while doing research on south east asian just a couple of days ago.I have hokkien anncestors that can be traced to Malacca some 500 over years ago and learning this langauge is my goal and i hope you will continue your good work here later.I know there are many people around who have lost their Ah Benghood in just one generation. This langauge may not be similar as the ones spoken in Fuchien province today but it has certainly evolved to an interesting level and its up to use to keep this unique brand of practical hokkien alive for future generations of high tech ah bengs and Ah lian.So all you ahler peepur asi wu simi lanciow kong please say something!

perhaps Penang hokkien is more orginal but it is easier for beginners to learn Singapore style hokkien.everytime i hear my auntie use penang hokkien i scratch my head but when i hear it in singapore,i scratch my balls and say KNNCCB!!
Comment by Julian Horiguchi — December 2, 2005 @ 12:28 pm
Is Penang hokkien more original? I always thought Singapore Hokkien was more original. Unless that was some singaporean elitist trick!!!
Comment by Ah Bah — December 2, 2005 @ 10:01 pm
Yes Ah bah,its like somebody learning American English and thinks that it is good English although we all know how original boring Queen’s English is not to mention the Queen herself.I also did some research and i found out that Teochew people are in fact Hokkien people too,We were all known as the Tang Chinese which is how the word ‘Terng lang’ came to be in ‘Nanyang ‘South East Asia just as good as saying a Filipino is also a Malay.
