Thanks
November 20, 2005I was quite surprised to read the comments from the previous post. Thanks for being so supportive.
Despite the encouraging comments, I’m adamant to discontinue blogging.
Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
KAM SIAH!

I lied. Sorry.
There was never any IT Manager in his late 20s writing a Hokkien blog to tell stories. I often think of being an adult and blogging in the perspective of an adult.
I’m just a 21 year old undergraduate from MMU Melaka. I’m studying in the IT faculty (FIST) and expecting to graduate within two years. Two years, that’s if I work hard enough. Believe me I’m working very hard to graduate as soon as possible.
My Hokkien sucks, I know.
No need to judge me on that. I ran into a lot of difficulties translating my thoughts to Hokkien. I am really a Hokkien. My dad’s a Hokkien and my mom’s a Hakka. I can’t speak any Hakka though. My parents communicate in Hokkien and that’s how I picked up the tongue.
So now you know. There was never a hokkienlang. It’s all a big lie.
I’m sorry for making up stories, folks. It’s just an experiment to see if I could bring any difference to the blogging community. I did, some bloggers actually blogged in Hokkien in one of their articles! Kudos for that.
This is probably the last ever post I’m gonna do in this blog. I won’t delete the blog, however. Maybe years from now I could check out my old posts and revise a little Hokkien myself!
Take care. Bye.
